My Mission
I was initially inspired by the unwavering faith and bold leadership of Pastor Greg Locke and Global Vision Bible Church. The Locke Flock is a community of disciples of Jesus. They are dedicated to supporting one another, growing in faith, and standing for biblical truth in a challenging world. The Locke Flock includes apostles, evangelists, preachers, prophets, and singers, from various churches. They provide strength and inspiration through gospel ministries that they preach and teach.
My Purpose
This website serves as a Christian blogging platform that delivers godly influence, writings, and connections. Here, you'll find blog stories about what I have learned from specific sermons and links to those sermons, which are from leaders who are making a significant impact for the Kingdom of God. There are also other Christian links and pages. The goal is to equip and empower you to live out your faith boldly, by sharing teachings that provide inspiration, challenges, and accountability.
My Vision
I envision The Locke Flock as a vibrant, global community of believers who are passionate about the Lord, rooted & grounded in the Word of God, and actively engaged in spiritual warfare.
They aim to be a beacon of light, pointing others to the Way, the Truth, and the Life- Jesus Christ, John 14:6. I believe this blog can be a blessing for many people. You can learn who the Father is, why you need Him in your life, and how to connect with Him.
My Story
I was saved in the fourth grade at a Laverne Tripp concert. I felt like I was pulled up front during the invitation to accept Jesus. When I left- It felt like I was full of happy fluff and was light enough to float. Several years later, when my serious relationship ended unexpectedly, It seemed like I lost everything, and absolutely nothing mattered to me anymore. For years, I just lived my life attempting to have instant enjoyment to avoid feeling constant pain.
In 2021 my brother sent me the Global Vision Bible Church link. I started listening to Pastor Locke, and my life began changing tremendously in positive ways. Each sermon taught me something that I needed to know in order to turn my life around, or it answered a question I had in my heart, and remarkably, sometimes it did both. I got into reading my Bible; I created a prayer room; I cleaned out things that I learned I shouldn’t have in my home; and I prioritized tithing. Now I listen daily to various online pastors, that I have met through GVBC.
I have always loved to write- it is my way of communicating, sharing, gifting, emotional self-healing, and creating. I thrive in advocacy positions where I can have a positive impact on people’s lives, and I prefer atmospheres that encourages creativity. I believe that God led me to set up this blog and has guided me in every way each day. “Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” – Psalms 37:4
My Blog Name
On June 21, 2023, I was listening to the Global Vision Bible app. Acts 20:28 said, “Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you oversee. Be shepherds of the Church of God which He bought with His own blood.” I instantly thought “The Locke Flock”- Pastor Locke, GVBC, and his friends & followers- my blog name!!! I thought, I will blog about everything I am learning about God & the Bible through Pastor Locke & GVBC, Joseph Z Ministries, D. R. Harrison, Jason Boggs, Troy Brewer, and other godly leaders.
