Pray, Pray, Pray

I used to pray throughout the day

For things that were not going my way.

I still do but not as much, cause things are better when I pray

Before I even start my day.

This means much more is done God’s way! Hooray!!!

Prayer Places & Prayer Reasons

Prayer room- It is a special secluded area where you can sit and talk & pray to God every day. So important! It can be a room, a closet, a tiny corner, or any space you choose.

Prayer home- It is great to pray in each room of your house when it feels necessary for activities that are going on, people who are present, or anything that you think would reap benefits from prayer.

Prayer belongings- It is helpful, when you pray, to identify any items you should not keep in your home. You will feel much better when you get them out.

Prayer shower- It can be a place where you can find privacy to pray when things are rough.

Prayer road- It is so peaceful to pray and talk while you are outside taking a walk.

Prayer table- It is good to pray over the safety of food before you eat it, especially now, and also to thank God that he provided you with safe, healthy, nourishment.

Prayer bed- It is healthful to pray that you will sleep well and to thank God for another day when you wake back up.

Prayer car- It feels safer when you pray that you won’t be harmed in any way and that you won’t hurt anyone else while you are out & about and driving.

Prayer thrift- It is comforting to pray that items which you purchase from thrift shops or yard sales are not ungodly.

Prayer store- It is helpful to pray, before shopping, that you will find & purchase the things you need. You will appreciate the accomplishment.

Prayer door- It is calming to pray for safety before re-entering your house, and when you are going in with new items, pray they are cleansed and blessed.

Prayer kids- It is amazing to pray over your children when they are sleeping or awake. : ) I pray for their salvation, their health, their safety, their happiness- their everything.

Prayer family & friends- It is important to have family, friends, and others on your prayer wall with current issues, such as illnesses, financial problems, struggling relationships, deprivation, etc. listed.

Prayer job- It is wise to pray when you are filling out a job application, going for an interview, and starting to work somewhere new. When hired, it is also beneficial to pray for your boss, your coworkers, & your company.

Prayer restaurant- Your meal is more enjoyable when you pray for healthy, harmless, & yummy food, and for the well-being of the employees waiting on you. If necessary, also pray for your patience & appreciation at the eating place.

Prayer when out- It is compassionate and kindhearted to pray for the safe keeping of homeless people; help them if you can; and remember to thank God for providing you with a home.

Prayer holidays- There is a lot of traveling and uniting during holidays. It is good to pray for safety during your trips, enjoyment& fun with others, and understanding of moods or complications during get-togethers.

Prayer Bible- I pray that I make reading the Bible a priority, preferably in the morning and that I understand what I read.

Prayer bills- I pray that when I receive money, I tithe first and am able to cover my bills too.

Prayer food- There are so many prayers needed over food! I pray that it is available and affordable. I pray that what I buy is safe, not covered in chemicals and full of dangerous ingredients. When I am ready to eat, I pray that the food makes me healthier and does not cause sickness or harm to my body. And, when you are gardening your own food, pray that it is not damaged or destroyed by chemicals, animals, insects, etc.

Improve Your Life with God

The meaning of improve is to enhance to a more desirable value or more excellent quality or condition: make better.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

1) Put God first to improve your life in every way.

Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

2) Read the Bible daily, first thing in the morning, if possible, to improve your biblical understanding.

Psalm 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

3) Pray every morning, thanking God & asking him to lead you, to improve your day.

Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

4) Fast, when you desire a deeper connection with God, to improve your communication.

Ezra 8:23 So we fasted and besought our God for this: and he was intreated of us.

5) Tithe/give, happily, before spending money on anything else, to improve your finances.

Proverbs 3:9-10 Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
