I have been against aborting babies since I was a teenager, and I knew the procedure. I never understood how anyone could legally murder an infant, or how a mother could live through the related circumstances. It seems devastating to painfully kill an innocent and helpless child. Abortionists should not be legal, but since they are, every mother needs be made fully aware of what will actually happen to her and to her infant. She must know the truth: she better understand that her baby is alive and will suffer pain; she should have an ultrasound to view the image of her child; and, she also deserves to be informed of her own possible side effects and death risk.

Even Christians often believe that abortion is just health care and women’s rights. God doesn’t. He creates your children, Psalms 127:3. They are gifts. He knows them before you do, Jeremiah 1:5. He can fill them with the Holy Spirit before they leave their mother’s womb, Luke 1:15. In Israel, God told them not to let their children be sacrificed through the fire of Molech, Leviticus 18:21. God also says not to harm innocent people, Exodus 23:7. I doubt there are many people who are more innocent than the unborn. Every child, born or unborn, has a purpose in this world, Matthew 1:20-21 and Psalms 127:4. They cannot serve their purpose if they are killed. God deals with those who kill others, Proverbs 6:16-17 and Matthew 5:21.

Pastor Locke is correct. Even though health threats, rape, abuse, incest, and molestation are terrible, your baby is not the cause, and killing your baby will not relieve or remove your pain. When you get to make your decision, you should choose not to have sex rather than not to have your child. Pastor Locke also has a great idea regarding the cost of abortions and adoptions. They should be reversed. Abortions costing $50,000 could make parents give more consideration of their situation, while adoptions that range from free to $500 would allow adults, who want to adopt children, to afford to become parents. God intentionally creates us, places us in our mother’s womb, and has plans for our life, Psalms 139:13. God does not want us butchered before birth.

If you have had an abortion, God will forgive you, 1 John 1:9. If you choose not to have an abortion, God will support you and your child, Philippians 4:19. God has not approved of Planned Parenthood since 1970, Roe v. Wade since 1973, or any level or style of abortion ever. Christians, preachers, and all godly people should follow the Lord and help save those created of His own image, Genesis 1:27-28!
