Do You Know Why Halloween Is a WICKED Holiday?

Halloween is a wicked, ungodly holiday; the Lord wants us to hold a higher standard. How close to the Lord do you want to be? If you celebrate darkness, it is an evil thing. Halloween is not a Christian holiday now, and it never was before. God would not have you dress up for the evening as a vampire, witch, demon, or other creepy character, nor would he have you reunite with dead spirits. 2 Corinthians 6:14 says “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?” Christians cannot enjoy the goodness of God while engaging in a day of glorifying the devil. Families and churches could have Jesus-centered get togethers, with zero Halloween related things, instead. If you are neutral regarding the Satanic outings, you are probably neutral regarding your relationship with God.
Many people are willing to join Halloween activities, take their children trick-or-treating, and watch terrifying movies, because they have for years, and are not aware of the potential hellish connections and true dangers. I was one of those people. I just thought I was taking my kids out to enjoy walking through the neighborhood, dressed as their favorite characters, to see lots of unique yard décor and collect giant bags of candy. I was wrong. I was encouraging my kids to invite evil spirits to join them in their Halloween costumes and dragging them from yard to yard, then back home, where all demons felt welcome due to the Halloween decorations. Then for months I let them eat random candy that witches often prayed curses over at the store. I was very ignorant regarding All Hallows Eve!
I do not in any way engage in Halloween activities now. I am anti-Halloween and have removed all Halloween related items from my home. Even though they have some pagan roots, I do still celebrate Easter and Christmas, because we are celebrating Jesus’ birth and resurrection, which is good. There is no option of celebrating Jesus during Halloween, which is not good. I do not want to spend a yearly holiday drawing myself, my family, and friends nearer to fire and brimstone. Hebrews 5:14 says “But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.” If you are still enjoying Halloween, pray and read your Bible to improve your understanding and insight and help you see why you shouldn’t be comfortable with darkness.
